The Insurance Center is currently seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to work in our New Bern, Atlantic Beach or Wilmington, NC office. This is a client service role with significant advancement opportunities and pathways to sales and production. (must be able to be attained within 90 days of hire) Prior experience working within the Insurance Industry preferred. Applied Epic knowledge preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to build client relationships. Effective time management skills, willingness to learn, and be coachable. Proficient computer skills including MS Office, Excel, and Outlook. Responsibilities Assisting clients with a variety of insurance applications and policies. Issuing policies/binders, processing policy change requests, and processing payments. Assisting clients with quotes, renewals, and re-writes. Prepare Proof of Insurance and issuing Certificates of Insurance. Build and maintain relationships with clients and teammates. Provide support to Commercial Lines Producers. Utilize the Agency Management System to document all activity performed and log insured and carrier correspondence. Accept and process insured payments, respond to billing/cancellation inquiries and process cancellations. Provide backup support, such as answering incoming calls, and other administrative work as needed. Send documentation to insureds to obtain signatures (including eSignatures), in a timely fashion, and maintain in Agency Management System or within carrier systems. Adhere to Agency Errors & Omissions guidelines. Compensation Starting pay at $48,000 /yr. Pay based on experience.
