This role will be responsible for engineering and operating highly scalable Linux environments that support mission-critical healthcare applications across our enterprise. Join our team to help steward our on-prem Cloud deployed on High-Performance Compute infrastructure.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary Responsibilities:Administer and maintain large-scale Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment deployed to our High-Performance Compute infrastructureDesign, deploy, and support KVM-based virtualization platformsBuild and maintain automation solutions using Ansible, Python, and shell scriptingConfigure and support IBM Spectrum Scale (GPFS) storage environmentsImplement system security, hardening, encryption, and compliance controlsManage Linux networking including:BondingBridgingVLANsmacvtapConfigure and administer Linux storage technologies including:LVMdm-cryptLUKS2Troubleshoot complex operating system, virtualization, networking, and storage issuesCollaborate with Kubernetes, network, security, and application teams to deliver reliable infrastructure servicesDrive platform modernization through automation and standardization initiativesYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
