Schedule Details Holidays – Every Other Holiday, Monday through Friday, Weekends (Saturday and Sunday), Weekends – Every Third Weekend Scheduled Hours 7a-7p Shift 1 – Day Shift, 12 Hours (United States of America) Hours 36 Cost Center 25080 – 1710 Respiratory Therapy This position may have a signing bonus available; a member of the Recruitment Team will confirm eligibility during the interview process. Responsibilities Demonstrates excellent customer service skills. Appropriately documents all care activity performed and charges in the hospital EMR system. Participates in hospital and departmental performance improvement activities. Demonstrates competency in utilization and maintenance of arterial blood gas machines. Demonstrates competency in proper setup and utilization of all mechanical ventilators. Demonstrates competency in proper setup and utilization of the V60 NIPPV. Demonstrates competency in proper setup and utilization of all High Flow Oxygen Therapy systems. Demonstrates competency in the disinfection, transport and setup of all non-disposable equipment. Adheres to the Hospital’s Standards of Behavior. Completes all hospital and department annual competencies. Position Qualifications License/Certification/Education Graduate of an AMA approved school of Respiratory Care. Licensed in the state of Massachusetts in respiratory care, license may be in full or limited capacity. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers (BLSHP). Maintenance of CEUs in accordance with the regulation of licensure in the state of Massachusetts. Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
