Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and swallow assessments for residents
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing communication, cognition, and swallowing safety
- Provide direct therapy in individual and small-group formats; document progress and adjust goals as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to align care plans (nursing, therapy, physicians)
- Manage feeding and swallowing interventions, including texture modification and safety for meals
- Participate in discharge planning and family/caregiver education; maintain accurate documentation

Requirements
- Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology or eligible for licensure
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred (or eligible for certification)
- Experience providing SLP services in acute care or long-term care settings; travel experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills; ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
