Warehouse Lead

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to immediately hire to fill the role of Lead Warehouse Associate. This is a full-time position in Ashburn, VA. Duties & Responsibilities: Assist in overseeing the supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory Support the Warehouse Manager in running the warehouse Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory Ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members Assist with inventory counts Order warehouse supplies when needed Assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members Requirements: Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory role Previous experience working in a warehouse environment Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and good driving record A family culture and atmosphere Competitive compensation Health, dental, vision, and life insurance for full-time team members 401(k) with generous company match Paid vacations and holidays Immense training and growth opportunities We conduct pre-employment drug testing.
