Requirements

We are looking for an energetic, compassionate team member to join our Life Enrichment team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with group activities throughout the day.

• Make daily announcements to keep residents abreast of planned activities and schedule changes as requested by or in the absence of the Director of Life Enrichment; May also make announcements before each activity begins.

• Actively promote resident participation in activities.

• Actively promote the community by making guests feel welcome.

• Arrange and/or participate in special groups and activities such as coffee, news, story hour, games, music, and pet visitation.

• Decorate common areas of community using seasonal themes.

• Create a bulletin board with monthly activities, birthdays, and/or other resident highlights.

• Assist with recordkeeping as requested by Director of Life Enrichment.

• Keep storage area clean, neat, and organized.

• Notify Director of Life Enrichment immediately of noticeable differences in resident behavior.

• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean environment.

• Attend mandatory meetings as scheduled by Executive Director.

• Maintain confidentiality of resident, community, employee, and company information.

• Maintain working knowledge of fire and disaster plans and responsibilities under emergency conditions.

Perform other duties as assigned.
