Client Relationship Consultant Build and maintain relationships with customers across multiple channels, including in‑person, by appointment, and virtually. Engage customers with a digital‑first mindset, assessing and attending to their banking needs. Obtain and process customer and account information, and demonstrate and educate clients on deposit and loan products and services. Recommend solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs. Proactively reach out and follow up with clients, asking questions and learning about their financial needs and channel preferences. Identify solutions for new and existing clients by effectively engaging and communicating with them. Maintain working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital products. Provide consistent optimal client experience, greeting clients and processing basic transactions. Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests and submit credit applications. Educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products to meet their financial needs. Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize client experience and deliver operational excellence and accuracy. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Typically minimum 3–4 years of job‑related retail banking experience, or equivalent combination of experience and training. Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up. Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients. Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems. Proven customer service and interpersonal skills. Experience demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies. Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while employing a digital‑first mindset. Demonstrated proficiency in making appropriate product recommendations that meet customers’ needs both reactively and proactively. Experience in the financial services industry preferred. This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and RegulationZ, including criminal background and credit checks.
