Manufacturing Engineering

Manufacturing Engineering position supporting equipment design, maintenance, and production operations at a major medical device manufacturer. The role involves equipment troubleshooting, process validation, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional coordination between engineering and plant teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and construction of manufacturing equipment and systems
• Oversee external engineering firms and coordinate equipment debugging and validation
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems with production equipment
• Ensure equipment, processes, and facilities comply with OSHA, GMP, FDA, and EPA regulations
• Facilitate communication between R&D and plant personnel on products and improvements

Requirements

• Associate degree in electrical engineering or related field
• Minimum 4 years manufacturing technical maintenance experience
• Knowledge of equipment design principles and PLC-based control systems
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with computer operation and hand tools
• Experience with high-speed automated manufacturing preferred
