Equipment Reliability Engineer

Becton Dickinson seeks an Equipment Reliability Engineer to manage plant infrastructure, manufacturing equipment, and reliability systems at their Broken Bow facility. The role involves developing maintenance strategies, conducting asset criticality assessments, analyzing failure data, and coaching maintenance teams to optimize equipment performance and availability.

Responsibilities

Evaluate asset criticality and develop maintenance strategies aligned with organizational standards
Analyze maintenance data and failure trends to drive improvement projects and asset lifecycle optimization
Coordinate development and updates of maintenance plans, spare part classification, and CMMS documentation
Coach maintenance teams on failure investigation, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement tools
Monitor key performance indicators including MTTR, MTBF, and maintenance costs to identify priorities and optimization opportunities

Requirements

Associate degree or High School Diploma with 5 years technical/manufacturing experience
3 years manufacturing experience preferred
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in machine design and project management
Data collection and statistical analysis competency
Quality systems and safety/ergonomics knowledge
Medical device manufacturing experience preferred
