Client is seeking an experienced Senior GIS Analyst to lead enterprise Geographic Information Systems (GIS) initiatives supporting City departments and business operations. The selected consultant will be responsible for requirements gathering, business analysis, logical data modeling, process modeling, system design, project leadership, and implementation of GIS solutions that support operational and strategic initiatives.
The Senior GIS Analyst will work closely with stakeholders, technical teams, project managers, and business units to develop and enhance GIS applications, geospatial databases, mapping solutions, and enterprise GIS services. The role requires strong project management capabilities, GIS expertise, and experience leading multidisciplinary teams while ensuring successful project delivery.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced GIS analysis skills, strong geodatabase expertise, project leadership experience, and knowledge of business processes related to transportation, forestry, environmental management, planning, engineering, utilities, or other municipal operations.


Experience
• 7+ years of GIS Analysis and GIS Project experience.
• Experience performing customer requirements analysis and business process analysis.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise GIS solutions.
• Experience performing logical data modeling and process modeling.
• Experience developing GIS system architecture and technical designs.
• Experience leading GIS implementation and enhancement projects.
• Experience managing GIS project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Experience coordinating and supervising GIS project teams.
• Experience working with enterprise GIS databases and geodatabases.
• Experience supporting GIS integrations with enterprise systems.
• Experience supporting municipal, engineering, planning, transportation, environmental, forestry, or utility-related GIS initiatives.

• Experience supporting environmental analysis initiatives.
• Experience supporting forestry management systems.
• Experience supporting planning and land-use management applications.
• Experience supporting engineering and infrastructure GIS projects.
• PMP Certification or Project Management experience preferred.
