About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg experience required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: IV start experience required Telemetry experience required Previous travel experience preferred Charge experience preferred Description: Weekend and rotating holidays required. Floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity is necessary. Candidates should have 3 years of Med-Surg experience. Candidates must have BLS and ACLS certifications. Skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required. Experience in PCU, telemetry, and peripheral line care and management is necessary. The unit has a daily census of approximately 25 patients. Candidates must be aware of compliance deadlines for credentialing. Two professional references are required, including one from a supervisor or manager. Candidates should have education from an accredited program. Travelers must have a valid state license at the time of submission.
