Responsibilities


As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of data centre projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the development and management of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and construction teams, to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identifying and mitigating project risks to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Supporting procurement activities, including vendor selection and contract management.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and presentations.
• Assisting in the resolution of technical and logistical challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably within the data centre, construction, or MEP engineering sectors.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of MEP systems and data centre infrastructure is highly desirable.
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a keen attention to detail.

Day-to-Day


Your daily activities will include:

• Attending project meetings and coordinating with team members to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Tracking project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure adherence to plans.

• Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Preparing and distributing project updates and reports to stakeholders.
