Must-Have: Previous charge experience, patient ratio experience
Description:
Normal shifts are rotating 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
Shifts run from 0700-1730 and 0730-1800.
Some weekday and weekend on-call shifts are included.
The unit accepts first-time travelers.
Patient age groups include pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Staffing ratios are days 1:3, nights 1:2, and weekends 1:2.
Call is required, with one night per week and one weekend shift every 5-8 weeks.
All clinicians will float within their scope based on facility needs.
Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius.
Medical or religious exemptions for flu vaccination are allowed.
Travelers must have facial hair that allows for proper fit testing or will be expected to shave.
All travelers will float within the service line.
The patient diagnoses include orthopedic, podiatry, plastic, general, ENT, and GYN.
Pre/post-operative care is also provided.
Special equipment includes pain pumps.
Compliance deadlines are established for various requirements prior to the start date.
