Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County is looking for an experienced part-time Office Assistant with bookkeeping skills to join our team. The ideal candidate MUST have QuickBooks online experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently, attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Bookkeeping A/P, A/R entries into QuickBooks online daily Enter store sales daily Prepare payment authorizations Office Administrative · Carefully follow the instructions provided by the administrative staff. · Use professional telephone etiquette when communicating with others. · Handle incoming and outgoing mail efficiently. · Monitor office supplies inventory and order more when needed. · Work diligently without constant supervision or guidance. · Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Demonstrate outstanding organizational abilities in managing tasks effectively. · Possess intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 · Other responsibilities as assigned. · Must love our furry friends (2 cats and a pug)

Compensation · Off on all major holidays and weekends. · Pay rate $21.00--$23.00

Working Conditions: This position operates primarily in an office environment. However, occasional off-site work may be required for events or meetings. The Office Assistant will typically work during regular office hours, Tuesday to Friday, 20 hours per week. Some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate special events or projects. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree preferred or sufficient volunteer/office experience · Must be proficient in computer skills, including MS 365 Office (Word, Excel) are essential; familiarity with database management systems is advantageous. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective interaction both internally within the organization and externally. · Strong organizational abilities, including time management skills, are crucial for handling multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines. · A friendly demeanor coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills that enable you to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
