About the Role
The Company is seeking a Dean for its College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. The successful candidate will be a visible, engaged, and collaborative leader, with a strong commitment to the institution's mission and values. This role is pivotal in shaping the academic experience and formation of students, particularly in the context of a Catholic and Marianist liberal arts education. The Dean will be responsible for leading the College in the implementation of strategic plans, advancing a relevant and sustainable academic portfolio, and supporting the growth and success of both faculty and students. The ideal candidate will have a terminal degree in a relevant discipline, a strong record of teaching, scholarship, and service, and experience in academic administration with a focus on inclusive excellence. Applicants for the Dean position at the company's College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences should have a background that includes experience as a full-time, tenured faculty member, as well as a proven track record in academic leadership, resource management, and strategic planning. The role requires the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse academic community, including faculty, staff, and senior administrators. The Dean will also be expected to be a leading advocate for the College, articulating the value of a liberal arts education in preparing students for various life paths.
