Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP, supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all phases of care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient condition and obtain necessary pre-procedure information.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and monitor patient response during procedures.
  
  
• 
  Operate and assist with cath lab equipment and imaging systems.
  
  
• 
  Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to infection control protocols.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures, patient responses, and relevant clinical data accurately.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients on procedures, post-care instructions, and answer questions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid South Carolina or Compact RN license prior to start date.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 2 years of recent experience in a cath lab or EP setting.
  
  
• 
  Certified in BLS and ACLS.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate EP/Cath experience and radiation safety knowledge.
  
  
• 
  Be willing to work 4x10-hour day shifts with varied schedule requirements.
  
  
• 
  Ability to float between service lines is not required.
