Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM | 5 x 8-Hour Shifts | Weekends & Holidays as Needed | On-Call Required
Pay Rate:
Local Pay - $1680/Weekly
Travel Pay - $2000/Weekly

Position Overview:

We are seeking a EEG Tech/ Neurodiagnostic Technologist for an exciting Contract opportunity in Edison, NJ. The ideal candidate will perform routine and complex EEG procedures for pediatric and adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings while supporting quality patient care and maintaining departmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex EEG and other neurodiagnostic procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.

• Prepare, monitor, and provide quality care for pediatric and adult patients in inpatient, outpatient, EMU, and ICU settings.

• Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation while ensuring compliance with departmental and regulatory standards.

• Provide technical assistance, support department initiatives, and assist in training students as needed.

• Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage while maintaining equipment and ensuring quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology preferred.

• Minimum 1 year of Neurodiagnostic/EEG experience required.

• Experience performing both inpatient and outpatient EEG studies required.

• Current BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) certification required.

• ABRET EEG Certification or eligibility for ABRET registration required.

• Experience with Natus and Nihon Kohden EEG systems preferred.

• Strong computer proficiency and effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent patient care.
