PCU Registered Nurse

$1591.20/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), focusing on stable patients with a variety of medical conditions. Deliver high-quality, attentive care in a fast-paced environment to ensure positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities: Assume responsibility for assessing patient conditions and developing individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders. Monitor vital signs and use diagnostic equipment, including EMR systems like Meditech. Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure quality standards are met. Educate patients and family members on health management and post-discharge care. Document clinical observations, interventions, and patient responses in compliance with policies. Qualifications: Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Possess at least 1 year of recent experience in a PCU, IMC, or stepdown setting. Demonstrate strong clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and use of EMR technology. Be BLS and ACLS certified; additional certifications are preferred.
