Cardiovascular PCU patient population: advanced heart failure, left ventricle assist devices, peritoneal dialysis, cardiac surgical patients (CABG, valves and PCI). Patient ratios: 1:3. Department specifics: 34 beds, offers a management team that is supportive and a culture conducive for learning. Great collaboration with the providers, > 96.8 BSN, > 27.9 certification rate, first heart transplant was in 1986 and has done more than a thousand transplants in 36 years. Open statuses: full time.
