• Duration: Ongoing/Travel assignment
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM 7:00 AM), rotating or day shifts available
• Hours/Week: 36-40 hours
• Employment Type: Contract/Locum
• Licenses/Certifications: NC State RN/NP or PA license; BLS, ACLS; Neuro ICU experience preferred
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of APP experience in a hospital/ICU setting

What You ll Do

• Provide inpatient neurocritical care in a 10-bed Neuro ICU
• Monitor and manage critically ill neurology patients
• Collaborate with neurology, ICU, and hospital staff for patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Assist with patient stabilization and follow-up care
• Adhere to hospital policies and clinical guidelines
• Support patient safety and quality improvement initiatives

What You Need Required:

• Valid North Carolina license (or be eligible to obtain)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• At least 1 year of APP experience in critical care, ICU, or hospital setting
• Strong clinical decision-making skills and attention to detail

Preferred:

• Prior Neuro ICU experience
• Experience with neurocritical monitoring devices and protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
