Mandatory qualifications

The candidate must have:

At least 10 years of experience in data/BI engineering or analytics.
At least 5 years leading a team of at least three members implementing enterprise BI and/or large data warehouse solutions.
At least 5 years working with AI/ML or GenAI technologies.
At least two proven production-grade deliveries of BI or data products, such as dashboards, data models, or APIs.
At least 2 years with:
- ETL/ELT pipelines
- Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or comparable data warehouse platforms
- Airflow, dbt, or comparable orchestration tools
At least 2 years using OpenAI APIs or comparable LLM platforms, including:
- Natural-language-to-SQL/query systems
- Prompt strategies for business insights and analytics
- Prompt engineering
At least 2 years with:
- Advanced SQL, including joins, window functions, and performance tuning
- Star/snowflake schemas and semantic layers
- Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or another major BI tool
At least 2 years leading analysts and developers and working with stakeholders to discover, document, and implement data warehouse or BI requirements.

Preferred qualifications

Key responsibilities

Lead the full-stack GenBI/AI development team.
Direct BI, data warehouse, semantic modeling, and AI/ML implementation.
Lead requirements gathering with investment and technology stakeholders.
Oversee natural-language-to-SQL, prompt engineering, dashboards, APIs, and data products.
Ensure technical quality, scalability, security, and production readiness.
Coordinate deliverables, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer.
