The candidate must have:

The candidate must have:
- At least 10 years of experience in data/BI engineering or analytics.
- At least 5 years leading a team of at least three members implementing enterprise BI and/or large data warehouse solutions.
- At least 5 years working with AI/ML or GenAI technologies.
- At least two proven production-grade deliveries of BI or data products, such as dashboards, data models, or APIs.
- At least 2 years with:
- ETL/ELT pipelines
- Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or comparable data warehouse platforms
- Airflow, dbt, or comparable orchestration tools
- At least 2 years using OpenAI APIs or comparable LLM platforms, including:
- Natural-language-to-SQL/query systems
- Prompt strategies for business insights and analytics
- Prompt engineering
- At least 2 years with:
- Advanced SQL, including joins, window functions, and performance tuning
- Star/snowflake schemas and semantic layers
- Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or another major BI tool
- At least 2 years leading analysts and developers and working with stakeholders to discover, document, and implement data warehouse or BI requirements.

- AWS certification
- Snowflake certification
- Power BI or Tableau certification
- AI/ML or GenAI credentials
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
- Ability to work onsite in West Sacramento 2-3 days per week
- Lead the full-stack GenBI/AI development team.
- Direct BI, data warehouse, semantic modeling, and AI/ML implementation.
- Lead requirements gathering with investment and technology stakeholders.
- Oversee natural-language-to-SQL, prompt engineering, dashboards, APIs, and data products.
- Ensure technical quality, scalability, security, and production readiness.
- Coordinate deliverables, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer.
