This is a hands-on, hourly, non-exempt role that actively participates in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations while providing leadership and direction to the team.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.As an Assistant Manager, you will:Support the General Manager in day-to-day restaurant operationsLead shifts by directing team members and ensuring efficient service and food preparationProvide coaching, feedback, and support to Crew Members and Shift LeadsDeliver and model excellent guest service; resolve guest concerns professionallyAssist with hiring, training, and onboarding of team membersEnsure product quality, food safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently metPerform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, deposits, and reportingMonitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and stock managementMaintain compliance with company policies and all applicable federal, state, and local lawsActively participate in food preparation, including slicing meats and cheeses and assembling subsMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant environmentSupport team performance, accountability, and operational consistencyPreferred QualificationsPrevious restaurant leadership experience preferredStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsDependable, accountable, and team-orientedFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysCompensationPay Range: $14 per hour – $22 per hourActual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, location, and business needs.This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.BenefitsEligible employees may have access to the following benefits, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements:Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanPaid time off (where applicable under state/local law)Professional Development ProgramPhysical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to perform the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:Stand and walk for extended periodsLift and carry up to 50 poundsBend, reach, stoop, and kneel frequentlyPerform repetitive motions (including hand and wrist movements)Work in a fast-paced restaurant environmentWork EnvironmentThis role operates in a restaurant environment with exposure to food preparation equipment, noise, and fast-paced operations.
