Hiring General Laborers ASAP!!$20/hr Arden, NC

Job Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and dismantle temporary fencing and security assets according to customer specifications and project requirements.
• Build and remove temporary fencing systems on construction and commercial sites under tight deadlines.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions while performing physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and extended periods of standing and walking.
• Use hand tools, tape measures, and other basic equipment to measure, align, and secure fencing and related materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace at all times.
• Follow strict safety guidelines and procedures, including completing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and site safety checklists.
• Complete daily paperwork accurately, including job forms, site checklists, and inventory logs.
• Assist lead technicians with planning and executing work at multiple job sites.
• Navigate safely to different job locations and support loading, unloading, and staging materials as needed.
• Act professionally and courteously as a representative of the company when interacting with customers and site personnel.
• Support general labor tasks such as yard work, demolition, basic carpentry, framing, roofing assistance, and other construction-related duties as assigned.
• Handle and move materials, tools, and equipment safely, using proper lifting techniques and mechanical aptitude.

Essential Skills

• Ability to perform physically demanding general labor work, including heavy lifting and working on your feet for extended periods.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions on active construction sites and in yard facilities.
• Experience using basic hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, pliers, and tape measures.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn how to use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.
• Basic ability to complete job-related paperwork, including forms, checklists, and inventory logs.
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to work closely with lead technicians and crew members.
• Professional attitude and reliable work ethic, with a focus on customer service and representing the company well.
• Comfort with general labor tasks such as construction support, landscaping, demolition, framing assistance, roofing assistance, and yard work.

Work Environment

You primarily work outdoors on construction sites and in large, open yard facilities, installing and maintaining temporary fencing and related equipment.

The environment includes a sizable scaffolding and yard operation, with locations that can span up to approximately 70,000 square feet and a large two-story indoor facility.

Indoor areas provide break rooms, water coolers, and vending machines for your comfort during breaks.

The role requires working in all weather conditions, handling materials and tools in active construction and yard settings, and adhering to safety standards appropriate for these environments.

Pay Rate: $20/hr.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arden, NC.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
