Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist

Job Type: Full Time
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Salary: $515,000 - $678,000 annually (DOE)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist to provide specialized anesthesia care for complex cardiac and thoracic procedures. The ideal candidate will manage perioperative anesthesia services, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and complex surgical procedures.
• Manage anesthesia for bypass surgery, minimally invasive procedures, robotic surgery, and advanced aortic cases.
• Perform preoperative assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide postoperative anesthesia management.
• Respond to clinical emergencies and support patient safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and healthcare teams.
  

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program.
• Completion of a Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship.
• Three (3) years of cardiothoracic anesthesiology experience preferred.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Active medical license and DEA registration required.
• Controlled substance prescribing authorization required.
• BLS and ACLS/ALS certification required; NRP or PALS may be required based on practice needs.
