Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in Inpatient services in California. This position involves providing speech and language therapy at an acute care hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work. The role features a hybrid schedule, primarily during daytime hours, with a focus on adult inpatient care, including cerebrovascular accident (stroke) and dysphagia management.

Job Details:

• Location: Apple Valley, California
• Schedule: Days shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California license in hand, BLS certification, CCC-SLP certification, latest LA fire card within the last 30 days, minimum of 3 years of experience working independently in inpatient settings, and experience performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute care hospital environment, familiarity with Epic charting system, prior inpatient or outpatient adult therapy experience.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have worked at a facility within the last three years, including experience with acute hospital patients. RTO restrictions apply, with a requirement to work 3 of the 5 designated holidays. Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state unless otherwise specified. A local radius within 50 miles is considered local, and candidates must meet all mandatory compliance requirements prior to start.
