Executive Director - Enterprise & Flagship Platform Services
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks an Executive Director to lead enterprise and flagship platform services strategy, operations, and technology modernization. The role oversees platform reliability, AI quality standards, enterprise architecture, and multidisciplinary teams while partnering with executives to align technology investments with business priorities in a hybrid Durham, NC position.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute strategy and roadmap for flagship enterprise platforms ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
- Lead platform operations, site reliability engineering, observability, incident management, and continuous improvement
- Establish AI quality and safety standards for models, agents, and AI-enabled workflows with ongoing monitoring
- Build and lead high-performing technology teams while fostering accountability and engineering excellence
- Partner with Product, Sales, Clinical, and enterprise functions to translate business needs into platform requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years leading multidisciplinary teams with responsibility for strategy, execution, and budget management
- 10+ years defining and executing enterprise data, analytics, AI, or cloud transformation in large regulated organizations
- 10+ years leading enterprise-scale modernization involving cloud platforms, data ecosystems, and mission-critical services
- 10+ years partnering with executive stakeholders on technology investment alignment and organizational change
- 10+ years with data governance, privacy, security, compliance, and responsible AI in highly regulated environments
- Advanced knowledge of cloud technologies, enterprise platform engineering, DevOps, and site reliability practices
