Engineering Test Tech

Job Description: Engineering Test Technician will be responsible for supporting all aspects of assembly, validation, and qualification testing of both hydraulic and electromechanical actuation products. Job Responsibilities: Fabrication, Assembly & use of test fixtures and test rigs Assemble and test hydraulic actuators and electro-mechanical actuators Acceptance testing of hydraulic and/or electromechanical products Ensure calibration and certification of all instrumentation utilized for test Coordinate maintenance activities related to the test area Support external testing activities at labs when necessary Perform basic machining operations using drill press, Bridgeport mill, manual deburr and polishing Education/Experience: Associate degree preferred in: Mechanical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology or related technical discipline, or equivalent job experience preferred. Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification and proficiency in the use of drawings, specifications, basic math, computer, technical and mechanical skills. Qualifications: Familiarity with AS9100 Quality System Blueprint reading and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances Demonstrated technical capabilities working in a team environment Ability to use precision measuring devices such as micrometers, dial indicators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc. Ability to handle fast paced environment Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Minimum 1 year experience in assembly, test, & troubleshooting of electromechanical & hydraulic actuation products or related mechanical experience required.
