We are excited to bring on a Senior Group Benefits Sales Representative to join our Group Protection Distribution Team supporting Workplace Solutions in Arkansas.

Background Details

The Group Protection Distribution Team will help you establish and grow your career in Group Benefits sales, providing you with coaching and development to perform in this fast-paced environment.

As a Senior Group Benefits Sales Representative , you will be responsible for building and maintaining business relationships to meet or exceed established sales goals, quotas or objectives by working directly with groups with 2-5K lives in the assigned territory. You will work with Advisors, Registered Representatives, Brokers, Plan Sponsors and Participants in the assigned territory to increase sales revenue and market share in offering our ancillary products. This opportunity will provide the ability to grow within the group insurance industry while gaining new skills and building strong working relationships. What you'll be doing

• Own and grow your territory by developing and executing strategic sales plans that drive revenue, market share, and new business opportunities across assigned advisors, brokers, firms, and clients.
• Build meaningful relationships with key partners and accounts, using market and production insights to identify opportunities, strengthen retention, and expand business.
• Lead the sales process from prospecting and product education through negotiation, implementation, and follow-up, helping ensure a seamless experience from sale to issuance.
• Be a trusted resource by providing product expertise, training, and consultative guidance while helping clients navigate complex product, service, and process needs.
• Partner across the organization to develop compelling proposals, sales strategies, tools, and solutions tailored to the needs of your territory and clients.
• Stay ahead of the market by monitoring competitive activity, intermediary needs, and emerging trends and sharing insights that help shape sales strategies and solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve quality, and enhance the client and partner experience.
• Lead by example by maintaining strong sales discipline, managing territory activity and expenses, and sharing your knowledge with less experienced team members.

What we’re looking for

Must-have experience (Required):

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's).
• 1+ Years of experience in intermediary sales that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
• Group insurance background.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• License required upon hire.

Nice-to have Experience (Preferred):

• Sales experience (1-3 years).

Travel Requirements

• Up to 50%

The pay range for this position is $160,000 - $285,000 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
