Physical Therapist Location: Baytown, TX Agency: Towne U.S. LLC Pay: $2,896 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 9/14/2026 About the Position AlliedTravelCareers is working with Towne U.S. LLC to find a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) in Baytown, Texas, 77521! We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to provide home health therapy services throughout the East Region, including Baytown and surrounding areas . The PT will provide individualized care in patients' homes, helping them improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and overall functional independence. This assignment is ideal for a PT with recent home health experience who is looking to take on a travel opportunity. Previous travel experience is not required as long as the candidate has the required home health experience. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Hours: 40 hours/week Length: 8–13 weeks Region: East – Baytown and surrounding areas Setting: Home Health On-Call: None Weekends/Holidays: No weekends or holidays unless approved in advance Start of Cares: No Charting: WellSky Mileage: GSA maximum Weekly Productivity: Approximately 32–34 points Drive Time: Paid and considered when scheduling/productivity is calculated Overtime: Paid when drive time causes the total workweek to exceed 40 hours Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations in patients' homes Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, strengthening, transfer training, and functional mobility interventions Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility techniques, fall prevention, and safety strategies Provide timely and accurate documentation using WellSky Communicate with physicians, nurses, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team Call in all missed visits as required Communicate regarding evaluation frequency and situations where a patient cannot be contacted Manage a scheduled caseload while meeting weekly productivity expectations Provide patient-centered care while working independently in a home-based environment Requirements Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Required: Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of assignment Required: Minimum 2 years of recent licensed PT experience Private duty experience does not qualify toward the required experience Previous travel experience is NOT required Required: BLS certification Required: First Aid certification Strong clinical reasoning, communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and travel between patient homes Reliable transportation and ability to manage a home health caseload Additional Requirements Clean, professional attire with closed-toe shoes No facial jewelry except a small nose stud and earrings Candidates should research housing options before submission Reserved for RW What We Offer Competitive weekly travel compensation Paid drive time and GSA mileage Housing and travel support Overtime paid when applicable Dedicated recruiter and clinical support Opportunity to gain valuable home health experience through a travel assignment Potential for assignment extension and future travel opportunities About Towne U.S. LLC Towne U.S. is a proud member of the Towne Family of Companies, which has been building community and opportunity since 1991.
