Relationship Banker

Responsibilities Engage clients in financial review(s) and business financial reviews to uncover additional financial needs and make recommendations. Maintain direct contact with external and internal clients, delivering outstanding service in alignment with the bank’s Breakthrough Client Service Standards. Open new deposit accounts and originate consumer loans and small business loans, building and maintaining a loan and deposit portfolio. Educate customers about the availability of services originated by internal partners such as Treasury Management services. Perform proactive outbound phone calls to current and prospective consumer and small business customers and develop a pipeline of prospects from branch and outbound business development activities. Independently support and resolve client issues with digital products and services. Support community events during and after business hours, weekends, volunteerism, and other forms of community sponsorship. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 2 years of banking and/or demonstrated sales experience required. Minimum 2 years of loan origination experience in a lending function required. In-depth knowledge of Consumer and Business products and services and demonstrated proficiency in consumer lending and basic business lending skills. Ability to understand cash flow, financial statements, and market risk. Demonstrated desire and ability to build upon technology skills in various delivery channels, including online banking platforms, Bill Pay, E-Statements, mobile banking, ATM, and business banking applications. Position may require acting as a Bank MLO; all MLOs must register as an MLO complying with the SAFE Act requirements. The position is NOT authorized to act as a Bank Closed‑End MLO. Location 2255 Main St, Cambria, CA 93428 (full‑time onsite) Compensation Hourly $18.00 – $26.00, with eligibility for performance‑based incentive compensation.
