Overview
Travel Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Los Angeles, California. Start date 08/17/2026 for an 8-week assignment with guaranteed 48 hours per week. Shift is night, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Setting: home healthcare – hospice. This travel assignment requires active RN licensure in California, with ACLS and BLS certifications, and recent clinical experience in a related field. EPIC EMR experience within the last 12 months is required.

Responsibilities
- Observe, assess, and coordinate patient care within the appropriate obstetric or perioperative context, ensuring adherence to policy and mission.
- Monitor vital signs, fetal status when applicable, and overall patient condition; communicate changes promptly to the physician and team.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, providing direct and indirect care, and adjust interventions as needed to promote safety and comfort.
- Administer medications and therapies per orders, document care in the electronic medical record (EPIC), and ensure accurate recording of assessments and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the health care team to coordinate transitions of care across shifts and service areas; maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and families.

Requirements
- Active RN licensure in the state of practice (California)
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a relevant field
- ACLS certification required (ACLS or HS-ACLS or RQI-ACLS acceptable)
- BLS certification required (HS-BLS or RQI BLS acceptable)
- ENRICHMENT: EPIC EMR experience within the last 12 months
- BSN: Preferred
- Ability to work in a home healthcare – hospice setting and to handle night-shift requirements
