Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location

Torrance, CA (potential float to San Pedro, CA)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, 5x8-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an acute care hospital Operating Room setting
• Perform on-call duties as required (1 call shift per 6-week rotation)
• Work weekend shifts as scheduled (1 Saturday shift per 6-week rotation)
• Float between like units within the facility and potentially to a sister facility in San Pedro, CA
• Complete required annual facility training modules prior to and during assignment
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand at time of start; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days
• Ability to fulfill on-call and weekend shift requirements as outlined
• Must disclose any license or background hits at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records charting system
• Prior experience working in an acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and documentation requirements
