Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Scottsdale, AZ | Up to $61/hr

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary school students in Scottsdale, Arizona for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, in-person opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working with a supportive school district.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Scottsdale, AZ

• Start Date: 09/14/2026

• Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week

• Setting: Elementary School (K-5)

• Caseload: Under 75 students

• Assignment Type: In-Person, District-Wide Support

• Interview: Virtual with ESS Director

• Pay: Up to $61/hour for local candidates

• Travel Packages Available for qualified travelers

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for students

• Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy plans

• Provide direct speech-language services in accordance with student IEPs and physician orders

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License

• CCC-SLP preferred (may be required by contract/state regulations)

• Compliance with all professional standards of practice

• Current CPR certification if applicable

• TB screening and health certificate if required

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
