Senior AccountantRequired Skills & Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience preferred - Senior Accountant or Controller level experience ideal, but title is not important - Accounting or Finance degree - Strong QuickBooks experience, especially QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop - Strong Excel skills; advanced Excel are a must and macros are a plus - Power Query and Power BI experience are a plus but highly preferred - Must be able to work independently, learn quickly, and hit the ground running - Strong technical skills and interest in process improvement and automation - AP/AR and general accounting experience helpfulJob DescriptionPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced accounting professional to support our team during a 6-7 month engagement. This individual will step into a critical role, working independently to manage accounting functions, improve processes, and provide immediate value with minimal ramp-up time.The ideal candidate will have senior-level accounting experience, strong technical capabilities, and the ability to quickly learn systems and business processes while operating in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations and general ledger activitiesPerform account reconciliations and month-end close activitiesAnalyze financial data and prepare reporting as neededSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsMaintain accuracy and integrity of financial recordsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and automationCreate and maintain advanced Excel reports and financial modelsUtilize accounting systems to improve efficiency and reporting capabilitiesPartner with leadership and internal stakeholders on accounting initiativesAssist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis
