• Conduct both routine and complex clinical lab tests—including, but not limited to, chemistry, hematology, and immunology—all adhering to established protocols.
• Scrutinize test results for precision, troubleshoot any inconsistencies, and execute preventative maintenance as well as calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for thorough testing as needed.
• Meticulously document all procedures, guide new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining laboratory standards of excellence.
• Ensure a tidy and secure work environment, adhering strictly to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health education, accompanied by preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Possession of ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be achieved within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification is required throughout your time with us.
