Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Law Associate in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will possess over four years of experience in employment law, with a strong understanding of federal and state regulations. This role requires superior research, analytical, and legal writing skills, along with litigation experience. Duties Conduct legal research and draft motions. Manage discovery, depositions, and oral arguments. Handle BOLI and EEOC charges and investigations. Review employee handbooks and policies. Train junior associates. Requirements 4+ years of employment law experience. Strong work ethic and client service skills. Excellent academic credentials and professional references. Solid interpersonal and communication skills. Interest in industry-specific groups. Education Juris Doctor degree. Certifications Admission to Oregon or Washington State Bar; dual admission preferred. Skills Superior research and analytical skills. Strong legal writing abilities. Litigation experience as a second chair. Ability to work with limited supervision. Benefits Productivity and discretionary merit bonuses.
