Facilities Manager

Russell Tobin's client, a real estate company, is hiring a Facilities Manager in Fredericksburg, VA. Facilities Manager Pay Rate: $41 - $44.83 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Work Arrangement: Onsite Contract Length: Approximately 90 days, with potential for extension and possible permanent hire based on business needs and performance. We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance of a commercial facility. This role is ideal for a facilities professional with strong leadership, project management, and building systems experience. Key Responsibilities Oversee building operations and maintenance to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained facility. Manage work orders and coordinate maintenance activities with internal teams and service providers. Lead facility-related projects from planning through completion. Partner with engineering and operations teams to maintain critical building systems. Serve as the primary point of contact for facility stakeholders. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, policies, and operational procedures. Required Qualifications 5+ years of facilities management or related experience. Strong knowledge of HVAC, engineering, plumbing, and plant operations. Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to work within facility management systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing commercial building operations or engineering teams is a plus. Pre-Employment Requirements Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
