Why This Role Rocks As an Analytics Engineer II, you’ll own the design, build, and performance of enterprise analytics in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. You’ll create trusted semantic models, define governed metrics, and deliver high-impact reporting that powers smarter decisions across the business. You’ll work closely with the BI Product Owner and Data Engineering team to shape scalable, reliable analytics while building assets that enable true self‑service for your stakeholders. This is an on‑site role that works a hybrid schedule at the Texas Roadhouse Support Center located in Louisville, Kentucky. What’s On Your Plate Design, build, and maintain domain‑aligned semantic models in Power BI / Fabric Develop business metrics using DAX, including complex measures and calculation groups Apply dimensional modeling best practices for performance, usability, and consistency Own data governance: RLS, dataset certification, and access controls Build and support high‑impact Power BI reports and apps Troubleshoot issues across models and reports (performance, refresh, logic) Partner with Data Engineering to shape analytics‑ready data models Monitor performance, reliability, and usage of analytics assets Contribute to CI/CD processes (Git, PBIP, deployment pipelines) Enable self‑service analytics through certified datasets and reusable assets Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate outcomes Your Recipe for Success HS or GED required; Bachelors in Computer Science or related preferred, experience can be considered in lieu of degree 4-6 years of experience in Analytics Engineering, BI, or advanced Power BI roles Required Certifications: DP‑600 (Fabric Analytics Engineer) and PL‑300 (Power BI Data Analyst) Proven ownership of production semantic models and governed metrics Strong expertise in DAX, dimensional modeling, and performance optimization Experience delivering production‑grade analytics solutions used by the business Solid SQL and data modeling skills Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric / Power BI ecosystem (DP‑600 aligned) Experience with Git and CI/CD practices Experience with Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Direct Lake) preferred Familiarity with product‑oriented analytics teams preferred Experience with tools like Tabular Editor preferred Benefits Best‑in‑class benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 100% paid maternity leave Generous time off including vacation, parental, donor, and bereavement leave Wellness perks like on‑site personal trainers, massages, a full gym, and a registered nurse Convenience services like car detailing, dry cleaning, and even spray tans Financial support with 401(k), tuition reimbursement, stock units, and holiday bonuses Delicious perks from Willie’s Joynt – our full‑service café serving legendary meals Support Center employees who meet benefit eligibility receive a comprehensive total rewards package starting the first day of the month after 31 days of employment.
