Java DeveloperIrvine, CA/ Schaumberg, IL (Remote due to COVID but otherwise they will need to be located in Irvine CA or Schaumberg IL)12 month ContractScrum teams are in the range of 6 to 8 members.The team will be building an interface between RxClaim and external applications, REST APIs, and Private Cloud developments.Healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Technical knowledge is the key.The top three skills are Azure development experience, Java Spring development, and REST API Development on Azure.Azure hands-on experience will set candidates apart.Working on a scrum team as a full stack engineer.Design and develop reusable software modules that meet customer requirements while upholding high standards of reliability, security, maintainability, and performance.Assist in defining product technical architecture.Maintain and document deliverables in Rally as needed.Participate in peer reviews for designs, code, and other work products and scrum ceremonies.Perform software quality assurance, including all types of testing.4 or more years of experience working as a Java developerMust have experience with multi-threading, client-server programming and RDB4 or more years of full Software Development Life Cycle experience4 or more years of experience with REST APIs4 or more years of experience with DB/SQL4 or more years of experience with Spring and Spring Boot technology4 or more years of experience in Azure Cloud developmentKnowledge about DevOps, Kubernetes, TerraformKnowledge of JBOSS servers, JMETER, JCONSOLE and Test automation tools like CucumberThe work hours are flexible.
