General Laborer

Allegiance Staffing is currently seeking a reliable and motivated General Laborer to join our client's team in McKees Rocks, PA. Our client is a leading company in the manufacturing industry, and this role involves critical responsibilities in supporting the production process and ensuring the highest quality of finished products.

Job Title: General Laborer

Location: McKees Rocks, PA

Shift: 6am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday), must be available for overtime on some Saturdays

Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Packaging finished products according to instructions from work order/operators.
• Building and locating skids outside ahead of each job to maintain maximum flow of production for the machine you are working at.
• Completing paperwork accurately and organizing materials in their designated locations.
• Inspecting and packaging products, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.
• Maintaining clean and tidy work areas, promoting a safe and organized working environment.
• Assisting other machines with packing duties when time permits.
• Aiding and supporting operators during production processes when needed.
• Assisting woodshop employees with skid building and locating tasks.
• Monitoring supply levels and promptly informing the supervisor when items are running low.
• Reporting any equipment or facility issues to the supervisor, preferably in writing.

Requirements:

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining efficiency and precision.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality.
• Adherence to safety protocols and willingness to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
