All About Style: A team of consultants who deliver for guests through strong operations, guest experience and visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket. Style Consultants are welcoming and helpful on the sales floor and in the fitting room, ensuring the floor is set with the right products, pricing and signage. At Target, we believe in meaningful experiences that help team members build and develop skills for a career. The role of a Style Consultant can provide you with valuable skills and experiences. Responsibilities Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings. Use store tools to understand sales, inventory, and guest needs. Sort freight, push freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs. Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales. Maintain product availability on the floor through priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity. Maintain backroom organization to support replenishment and guest requests. Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience. Support price changes and signing for clearance merchandising. Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and assist guests. Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise from fitting rooms to the sales floor. Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance at all times. Work safely; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards and correct when possible. Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive-Up (DU) while maintaining compliance with applicable laws. Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs. Engage with guests to solve their specific needs and thank them for shopping with Target. Ability to resolve guest questions quickly and stay focused in a fast-paced environment. Physical & Work Environment Accurately handle cash register operations as needed. Climb ladders; scan, move merchandise safely, and lift up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally with assistance. Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required. Work in varying temperatures and conditions depending on duties (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.). Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
