Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory analyses-ranging from chemistry to hematology, immunology, and beyond-while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, address discrepancies, and ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Document all laboratory procedures meticulously, train newcomers or interns, and uphold the lab's quality control standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment while following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtaining ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire is required.
• It is essential to maintain current certification throughout employment.
