Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Summary:
Seeking a Float Pool MS/Tele RN to provide specialized nursing care in medical, surgical, and observation units. The role involves adapting to various unit needs, managing complex patient diagnoses, and utilizing Cerner or Epic systems for documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care in medical surgical and tele-unit settings during 12-hour night shifts.
• Monitor patients' conditions using the Avasure video system, ensuring patient safety and timely interventions.
• Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, and treatments accurately within Cerner or Epic systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and unit activities.
• Relieve staff for breaks and meals in the Avasure office to maintain continuous patient oversight.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including certification, documentation, and shift requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current state RN license with at least 2 years of clinical experience.
• Demonstrate cardiac experience; prior telemetry experience preferred.
• Possess ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple unit needs.
• Have proficiency with Cerner or Epic documentation systems.
• Willing to consider first-time travelers with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
