We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant - Surgery - Trauma for a 42-day assignment with our client, starting Sep 4, 2026, in California. This role involves supporting trauma surgery patients through various procedures, including local anesthesia, laceration repair, and complex wound management during PM shifts from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. Responsibilities and Duties Local anesthesia Dressing changes Drain Removal Suture Removal Debridement and closure of wounds: Skin and subcutaneous Debridement of wounds: Superficial Basic Management of non-displaced fractures Removal of superficial foreign bodies Insert and remove packing Incision and drainage Additional Information EMR: Cerner Shift hours: PM shift (3 p.m. to 1 a.m.) Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Wellhart was founded in 2018 with a mission to tackle the urgent healthcare staffing problem at commercial medical facilities and local, state, and federal government agencies.
