Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231 Work hours: Various Shifts Available (Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Evenings, Nights) Weekend and Holiday Requirements

Here's What You Need:

• Other Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Care Program upon hire required
• Other CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency upon hire required
• RCP Respiratory Care Practitioner upon hire required
• RRT Registered Respiratory Therapist upon hire required
• BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
• ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support ICU and Emergency Department only 90 Days required
• NRP Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program NRP required if working in the NICU 90 Days required
• Good verbal communications, good interpersonal skills, and computer experience

What You Will Do:

• Review available medical records and obtain pertinent medical history from the patient or family.
• Evaluates each patient using age and diagnosis-appropriate assessment tests and measurements.
• Applies appropriate patient care interventions according to protocol guidelines and priority of care.
• Demonstrates competence in the performance of age-appropriate patient assessment and individualizes care based on age-specific needs.
• Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient's age and desire for treatment.
• Performs treatment procedures that are within the scope of the professional license.
