Mercy Medical Center, the only midsize hospital in the state of Maryland named a “Best Employer” by Forbes Magazine, is looking for a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to join Mercy’s Overlea location. The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant is an independent health care provider who, working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary health care team, is responsible for providing comprehensive care for our patients (family focused). The NP / PA educates patients and/or any available family members in order to promote wellness, prevent health problems, maintain current health, and intervene in illnesses. Requirements Must be the graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program - Minimum 2 years experience required. Weekend rotation preferred. License requirements: Current State License. Must be CPR certified. EPIC experience preferred however not required. Salary Minimum USD $41.90/Hr. Maximum USD $75.42/Hr. Salary Information Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
