Tenstorrent is looking for a motivated Accounting Intern to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining accounting fundamentals with data analytics, automation, and process improvement. You will gain hands‑on experience supporting accounting operations while exploring how technology and AI can improve efficiency in a fast‑paced technology environment. This role is onsite, based in our Santa Clara, CA office. Who You Are Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. Passionate about combining accounting, data analytics, and technology to solve business challenges. Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and comfortable working with large data sets. Proficient in Excel; experience with SQL or other data analysis tools is a plus. What We Need Analyze accounting data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities to improve processes. Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline recurring workflows, including reconciliations, reporting, and journal entry preparation. Support fixed asset tracking, depreciation schedules, reconciliation accuracy, month‑end close activities, and other accounting projects. Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to document, optimize, and improve operational workflows. What You Will Learn How accounting operations support a fast‑growing AI hardware company. Best practices for reconciliations, financial reporting, fixed asset management, and month‑end close processes. USA Hiring Timelines This internship opportunity is available throughout our 3 terms with the following corresponding recruitment cycles: Winter Term: Jan‑Apr work term, Sept‑Dec recruit. Summer Term: May‑Aug work term, Oct‑Apr recruit. Fall Term: Sept‑Dec work term, Jan‑Aug recruit. Please note these timelines are for reference only. Actual timelines may vary. Compensation for all interns at Tenstorrent ranges from $39/hr - $59/hr including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
