Senior Level Action OfficerThis is a contingent requisition for future efforts. Tasks include:Leading, developing, and streamlining the Director's Action Group (DAG) support functionsIdentifying internal and external issues that may impact the NRO and taking appropriate action as approved by the U.S. GovernmentDrafting, consolidating, coordinating, and editing executive-level documentation to ensure consistency with organizational strategic objectives; applying an in-depth knowledge and understanding of DoD/IC issues, policies, programs, and procedures affecting the NROMaking recommendations and preparing briefings, point papers, and other materials based on analysis of complex policy issues and documentsParticipating in external committees, Integrated Process Teams (IPTs), working groups, and task forcesEnsuring critical information is disseminated to internal and external agencies including the OSD, ODNI, and mission partner equivalent officesPerforming and maintaining DAG support functions to include recognition programs, training, and securityManaging NRO TIER actions for supported officeAnalyzing and assigning or performing actions, as appropriateCoordinating responses and assessing for accuracy prior to senior management reviewManaging and executing the action tracking process, developing standard operating procedures, and serving as facilitator for user requirementsMonitoring progress on actions, generating metrics to demonstrate accountability for meeting deadlines and quality expectations; preparing periodic reports on action status and keeping leadership aware of late, pending, and new actionsDisseminating policy and legislative changes to appropriate parties internal to the NRODrafting, proofreading, editing, and providing final review of internal and external correspondenceCoordinating and maintaining presentations for audiences up to the NRO-Level, maintaining a quality control process for all presentationsParticipating in DAG-related meetingsManaging records generated during the execution of the Directorate's projects and programs in accordance with Federal Laws and Regulations, as well as NRO Directives and InstructionsDesired Skill Set:Demonstrated experience in one (1) or more of the following areas: federal acquisitions, DoD or the IC budget and finance processes, and National Security PolicyDemonstrated experience working with senior executives at multiple organizational levelsDemonstrated experience using Microsoft Office and standard computer applicationsDemonstrated experience adapting to a rapidly changing work environment while maintaining flexibility and versatilityDemonstrated experience fostering solid relationships that promote cooperation and communicate expectationsDemonstrated experience analyzing situations and making well-informed decisionsDemonstrated experience communicating effectively and concisely using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audienceBachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business related discipline (advanced degree preferred) and target 10 years with any government OR target 7 years within IC or DOD OR Bachelor's Degree in any discipline AND target 12 years within IC or DoD with 6 of those 12 years within NRO.
