Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department provides safe, compassionate, and efficient nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency care environment. The RN assesses patient conditions, prioritizes care, administers medications and treatments, responds to emergencies, monitors patient status, and collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Requirements* Active, unrestricted Michigan or Compact RN license.
* Recent Emergency Department/ER nursing experience.
* Current BLS/CPR certification.
* ACLS certification.
* PALS certification for ED/ER.
* Strong emergency-care, assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute-care environment.
* BSN.
* NIHSS certification.
* ENPC experience/certification preferred for ED candidates.
