MIG Welder

Skilled Mig Welder Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled MIG welder to work at an automation company. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminum in a production or fabrication environment and takes pride in producing clean, consistent welds that meet quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal components per blueprints and work orders
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and specifications
• Inspect completed welds visually and with measuring tools to ensure conformance to quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with safety protocols
• Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or material inconsistencies to supervision
• Meet production quotas while maintaining quality standards

Requirements:

• 2+ years of MIG welding (STEEL) experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols as needed
• Experience welding carbon steel required; stainless or aluminum a plus
• AWS certification preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred:

• Experience with fixture or jig welding
• Flux core welding experience
